The Azure Striker Gunvolt Trilogy Enhanced is a compilation of three 2D action platformers: "Azure Striker Gunvolt" (2014), "Azure Striker Gunvolt 2" (2016), and "Azure Striker Gunvolt 3" (2022). Each game immerses players in a rich narrative, featuring real-time dialogue during missions and an extensive soundtrack with over 37 songs performed by the characters.
In "Azure Striker Gunvolt," players control Gunvolt, a superhuman with lightning powers, as he fights against the Sumeragi Group. The Trilogy Enhanced version introduces new Skills to his arsenal, allowing for more powerful attacks. In "Azure Striker Gunvolt 2," Copen becomes a playable character alongside Gunvolt. Copen uses dashes and homing laser barrages while mastering the aerial "Bullit Dash" to defeat enemies. His voice has been re-recorded in this edition. "Azure Striker Gunvolt 3" introduces Kirin, who can swap with Gunvolt for different combat styles, including teleportation abilities for quick strikes. This game expands on Gunvolt's electrify style and features the Image Pulse system for character buffs and attacks.
The collection includes all DLC from each game and comes with exclusive features like action revisions by the series director, revised voices and songs, and Japan-exclusive CD dramas.
