VALKYRIE DRIVE -BHIKKHUNI- is an action RPG developed by the creators of SENRAN KAGURA. Set in a world where a mysterious "V-Virus" has turned young women into powerful weapons known as 'Extars' or their controllers, called 'Liberators'. The game takes place on Bhikkhuni, an island that successfully controls the V-Virus and offers treatment to infected girls who attend its school.
The plot revolves around two sisters, Rinka and Ranka Kagurazaka, both infected with the VR-Virus—a unique strain of the virus—allowing them to switch between being Extars or Liberators at will. These girls join Bhikkhuni's school in hopes of finding a cure and control over their condition.
The game's premise involves combat: infected patients battle each other on the island to strengthen both body and mind, learning to better manage the virus within. You can choose between seven unique characters with distinct playstyles. The story missions take place across 24 arenas, each offering progressively increased difficulty for players aiming for replayability.
